Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Prooflio! This guide will help you set up your account and start turning scattered reviews into revenue intelligence.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • A Prooflio account (you can start free ).
  • Access to the review platforms you want to connect (e.g., Google Business, G2, Trustpilot). Prooflio supports over 35+ platforms out of the box.

Getting Started in 3 Steps

Create Your Organization

Log in to the Prooflio Dashboard  and create an organization for your company or product. This is where your reviews, AI insights, and widgets will live.

Connect & Import Sources

Go to the Integrations tab and connect your first review source.

  • Google Business: Sign in with your Google account to import and reply to reviews.
  • G2, Trustpilot, Capterra: Simply enter your profile URL to start fetching reviews.
  • CSV Import: Have existing reviews in a spreadsheet? Upload them directly.
AI Analysis & Social Proof

Once your reviews are imported, Prooflio’s AI will automatically:

  • Score sentiment: Identify positive, neutral, and negative feedback.
  • Cluster themes: Categorize reviews into topics like UX, Pricing, or Support.
  • Amplify: Go to Widgets to create a “Wall of Love” or carousel to embed on your website.

Connecting Your First Platform

To connect a review source, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Select a platform (e.g., Google Business or Trustpilot).
  3. Provide the necessary authentication or URL.
  4. Click Sync Reviews.

Prooflio will now begin importing your history and will automatically monitor for new reviews based on your plan’s sync frequency.

Embedding Social Proof

Once you have reviews, you can showcase them on your site:

  1. Go to the Widgets section.
  2. Choose a template (Wall of Love, Carousel, Card, or Badge).
  3. Customize the design to match your brand colors and typography.
  4. Copy the Embed Code and paste it into your website’s HTML before the closing </body> tag.

Next Steps

  • Explore AI Insights: Check the Analytics tab for sentiment timelines and theme clusters.
  • Collect New Reviews: Use Branded Forms to ask customers for text or video testimonials.
  • Unified Inbox: Reply to your reviews directly from the Prooflio dashboard.
  • Developer API: Build custom integrations using our REST API.
